Part 16: A car is like a gun……. both deadly weapons in the wrong hands !

To my horror, he was covered in blood and skin hanging off his face……Doug, DOUG I screamed, ARE YOU OK……..there was no response…….

Part 15: Oh no…….I’ve killed Doug!

The next car I bought was an MG Midget, she lasted the best part of one day…….

Part 14: I’m dead……

I don’t know how I managed too but I swerved at the last second just before impact………..

Part 13: 1987 was almost my final year…….and I’ve had a few of them!

Him and his angry mate proceeded to jump out of the car and head towards us, I think they were a little upset, to put it mildly and they were huge guys too……….

Part 12: Punishment is a necessity……..see what happens if you don’t!

The reply I got back from Boots was, all charges against you have been dropped but please don’t come back to our stores. So again I was let off with a warning……now you start to think that maybe you’re above the law, untouchable even!

Part 11: Police Station again……..will I ever learn?

The Police were called, now this was the first time that I really thought I was in trouble, serious trouble…..

Part 10: Dodgy Motors & Car Auctions

The first car I bought, at 16 years of age, was a Triumph Herald from this dodgy little auction, I drove it around until I crashed it…..

Part 9: I don’t know where this came from……

I’d never stolen anything before…..actually I lie, I’d stolen a pencil rubber but I felt guilty and took it back……what I mean is, I’d stolen nothing like this……

Part 8: First encounter with the Police……

I knocked my poor old Dad spark out………something that haunted me for many years…..

Part 7: Downhill from here on……

Today it’s called taking and driving without the owners consent……
